Principal Scientist – ADME/PK (CRP-606)

As part of our continued success at BioFocus we are looking for a Principal Scientist to support both multidisciplinary and stand alone ADME PK programs at our Head Office near Cambridge.
In this client facing role your main responsibility will be to provide DMPK input to multidisciplinary Drug Discovery projects, working closely with colleagues in the Biology and Medicinal Chemistry departments, in a variety of therapeutic areas. You will also be required to interpret in vitro ADME assays and, although there is no line management responsibility, you will be mentoring others in the design and application of such studies to Drug Discovery programs. You will be handling multiple projects in parallel, so in addition to innovation and creativity, you will need excellent communication, organization and time management skills, and an ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary, multi-skilled team.
You will be educated to at least BSc level with a strong background in all aspects of ADME PK in Drug Discovery. As this is a senior position, we are looking for someone with significant industrial experience including active involvement in cross-functional drug discovery project teams.
